West coast chocolatier Fran Bigelow knows her way around a truffle, but we think her Gray Salt Caramels are truly outstanding. Rich and buttery hand-cut caramel is enrobed in 56% pure dark chocolate and topped with a sprinkling of gray sea salt from the Brittany coast. The boldly flavored salt acts as the perfect contrast to the rich confection. A beautiful gift for a friend (or yourself), these exquisite caramels are a distinctive and luxurious treat.

Since our coveted Ben & Jerry’s ice cream doesn’t come in a bullet proof container with a padlock, we’ll have to settle for the Pint Lock. The lock is a simple contraption that fits on the top of our favorite pint sized container. When it’s locked with a secret combination it renders intruders (roommates) useless if they try to pry into the euphoric-icey treat hidden inside.

Martin Robitsch received an Honorable mention in the Designboom “Kitchen is the heart of the home” exhibition for this incredible Schaschlik Knife Block. The knife block is built from European pine and bamboo skewers, allowing you to put your knives into the block without worrying about where they must fit into, with little space constraints. There is plenty of room for the extra-large sushi knives right next to the paring knives with this piece.
