If you’re the kind of foodie who has constant cravings for sushi (we could eat the stuff everyday without remorse), mosey on over to Sudachi where yellow fin tuna maguro, seared tuna hamachi, and unagi (charbroiled freshwater eel) reign supreme. Pair any of the above with delectable Japanese eggplant or marinated tofu skin. But that’s not all: Mediterranean tapas are also on tap here. Dress for a casual crowd, grab your date (not literally, you perv) and stick around for the live jazz after 10:30 p.m.

The tomato is believed to have aphrodisiacal powers, so who can resist this Fresh Spiced Tomato Sauce rife with all things organic: tomatoes, onion, green olives, olive oil, lemon juice, preserved lemon, cilantro, garlic, salt, fenugreek seed, cardamom seed, cinnamon, cumin seed, vanilla extract, white peppercorns, tumeric, red chili pepper, bay leaf, black pepper, and cloves. Looks like High Desert has spoiled us silly once again.

Brownie Butts are aptly named. You see, they’re the caramelized, toasty, crunchy edges of a brownie that are rarely seen in public because they’ve been cut off by crazy people. We happen to like our brownies crisp, don’t you? Snap up some Butts in all of Butters Brownies new school flavors, such as Seriously Stout, Kona Buzz, L’Orange and Mental Julep. They’re available in classic flavors too. Superb, to say the least. Pass the milk.

Watermelon Splash is the newest, most summer-y release from Portsmouth Tea. Such a refreshing fruit infusion adds panache to a beach party so get thee to the shore, pronto. According to the company’s marketing squad, this liquid’s got the rhythmic action of a front porch swing. Can’t say that we disagree. Slurp it up with fried chicken and cole slaw.

Decisions, decisions. Miette’s cookie selection sends us into a delightful dither. First there are the zesty lemon or luscious lavender shortbreads, all delicate and buttery. Then there are the graham cracker cookies, which began as the crust on the lime meringue tartlette (they’re great for s’mores, ice cream sandwiches and dipping in milk). Oh, and what would life be without the crispy, bite-sized choc chip treats that are chock full of oats and walnuts. There are more flavors waiting for online, dear foordies.

Diva Commandment #10: “Always wash your locks with ultra premium bottled water.” Rinsing with tap water is ick, for lack of a better word. Enter Tasmanian Rain. It’s fab to drink, but low and behold, some of our gal pals wash their hair with it on special occasions. Think of it as bottled rain, taken from the purest skies over the pristine island of Tasmania. It’s been collected without ever touching the ground. Ah, the great lengths we go to in order to be more beautiful than the next woman.

We don’t mean to cause a panic, but the days of summer are dwindling fast. How to hold onto the sunshine without resorting to dangerous tanning or bad margaritas? Summer chocolates. (We’ll use any excuse to talk choc). Ghirardelli’s bright and colorful seasonal collection is full of their legendary Squares. Also noteworthy: New Intense Dark chocolates are available in six delicious flavors at any one of the Ghirardelli Chocolate shops. Say it: Summmmmmer. Let the word linger on the tip of your tongue and fill your bodacious body with glee.
