BloomingdalesAttention shoppers! Bloomingdale’s opened its lavish doors in San Francisco at 5th and Market. That’s right: the beloved East Coast institution is going tête-à–tête with Nordstrom and Union Square. Bloomie’s by the Bay, the second largest in the chain’s history, serves up a juicy slice of the Big Apple (unlike existing California branches). We’re counting the days until Barney’s New York makes its equally thrilling debut next fall at the corner of Stockton and O’Farrell in the building formerly occupied by FAO Schwarz.
