Despite a bustling College Avenue location, Atomic Garden serves up a little slice of serenity. Jewelry cases made from reclaimed farm wood, shelving made from water towers, and a vintage cash register lend the spacious store a rural feel. Eco-conscious owners Adrienne Armstrong and Jamie Kidson have culled a collection of sustainable home accessories, such as handmade comforters, journals made from old books, screen-printed silk pillows by Bay Area-based Sharon Spain (pictured here), herbal bath salts, and handmade notecards.
