Many architects are more famous for their role as an industrial designer than they are for the buildings that they design, and Valerio Bottin is no exception. This Italian born architect left the world of designing commercial, residential and industrial buildings in 1993, and joined lighting manufacture Foscarini. Their union has proved to be a good one, and Bottin has gone on to design many wonderful light fixtures and table lamps. One of our favorite works by Bottin is this Bubble table Lamp. This lamp features several white polycarbonate diffusers suspended gracefully in the air. The core is chrome that has been shaped to perfection, ensuring every detail is just right. The result is nothing short of stunning.
