This is the threesome you’ve always wanted. Nenuphar is a trio of low tables that come in white, cherry red or black (which reeks of masculinity). The three handsome parts adapt to fit any modern space. They function in a chic clique or on separate sides of a room, which make them ideal if your bachelor pad becomes a party pad on weekends. You could surely use the extra space to encourage mingling among guests.

You know that we have a knack for all things fine and precious. But right now, after seeing what has happened in Java, we need to take a break from consumerism and shopping therapy for a moment and think about how we can help. We like smaller organizations vs the big slow corporations because they tend to be much more effective. Our favorite one is Fortunate Blessings - they have most recently been included in American Express’ list of preferred charitable groups - and they are putting together a trauma team as we speak and if you feel that they are the right group, you can donate whatever you think is appropriate via PayPal right here. Just enter their email address: java at fortunateblessings dot org.
Thank you!

LightArch, by Knud Holscher, is a dramatic candleholder which offers almost unlimited possibilities for creating your own design. To be in a stable position, the candleholder has to consist of a minimum of three arches. Beyond this, multiple arches may be added in a variety of ways. LightArch can be easily packed and stowed away when not in use (but why would you want to hide it?). A truly unique modern candleholder from Danish D-ZN.

Hot, young Danish glass designer Maria Berntsen writes, “I’ve created a tealight holder that will give your home swing, style and an exquisite finish. A timeless ball of fire inspired by the universal circle”. The tealight appears to be floating on water, but it rests securely on the glass base. We are really happy with this fun new design - it handles drafts, ceiling fans and air conditioning with ease. We look forward to using Fireball in clusters on the terrace, adding a cosy glow to spring & summer evenings. Produced by Danish Holmegaard.

You know the old adage “everything but the kitchen sink?” Well, this beauty of a bookcase is made up entirely of stainless steel sinks that have been sublimated and reinterpreted into a bold new function. While the foundation is made of cherry-wood and plywood, you’ll slide your antique Shakespeare collection into the brush steel crevices which give it a character all its own. When it comes to your home style, the Inoxydable, as it’s called, is sure to thicken the plot.

Minimalist coffee tables are all the rage, but this one goes one further by guaranteeing minimum untidiness with a few handy, hinged lacquered flip-tops. The Mod Quad base comes in six wood veneers, while the tops come in ten different shades. It’s boxy comfort with a Rubik’s cube-like enigma…particularly for visitors unaware that it’s also responsible for storing your must-haves. Available from Wonk NYC.
