June 29th, 2008

blastation_babel.jpgBabel is an innovative table system that you can combine in many ways. The designer Fredrik Mattson has found a shape that allows the table to play an important role in an interior. Standard colors are a range from black to white or black to red where the fot plate is black and the tabletop white or red. Each ring is 9,5 cm, the foot plate is 55 cm in diameter.

Copper Grater

June 23rd, 2008

tortoise_grater.jpgNothing gets our appetites worked up like dealing with ginger or garlic in the kitchen. Finally, we’ve found a tool to make it feel less like work and more like play. This palm-sized, tin-plated copper grater prevents either delicacy from being crushed, so that it’s fresh and in perfect form for use in your favorite recipes. You see, each tooth is carved out and upward by hand to intensify the grating capabilities. Fun fact: The tortoise and crane designs are symbols of long life and happiness in Japanese culture.

ellastyle.jpgBamboo is everywhere in design these days. Our adoration for it goes beyond clothes (we’ve got plenty of this material in our wardrobes) and includes this oval platter, available in four fun colors. You can use it to serve your beloved recipes or arrange them in multiples and use them as colorful decoration statements.

For Your Fave Fruits

June 12th, 2008

Cocoon_Fruit_Bowl.jpgIt never hurts to have a little reminder when it comes to getting your daily serving of fruit. The Cocoon Fruit Bowl does just that. Made from stainless, polished steel, it’s the perfect little design for showcasing Mother Nature’s seasonal bounty. We love to keep the look monochromatic by keeping it filled with only one kind of fruit. Place it in the center of your dining table or on the kitchen counter for a burst of fresh, fabulous and neccessary color.
