A Fantastic Drum Set
November 2nd, 2007
Following the wild popularity of 9 Volts LED Battery Light, our friends at Forpeople have launched a colorful polystyrene drum kit for musically inclined kiddies (or their adult counterparts). The concept is scientific in nature: by changing the density of the polystyrene, different musical tones can be achieved. The beauty of this design is that if your child’s love for music turns out to be a phase, the kit can be used as building blocks and furniture, or it can be recycled entirely. Nassu
June 6th, 2007
The idea of Seimi baby collection™ children’s furniture was born same year as Puustudio IDF’s leading character’s Meri’s and Olli’s daughter Ines in 2002. Furniture stores’ and children’s accessory stores’ selections seemed to be quite limited when you were looking for high quality, well designed children’s furniture. Puustudio had both the ideas and experience. Also Meri’s parents, interior designers Leena and Hannu Peltonen, were asked to join the team and they composed the impressive ideas of Seimi-bassinett, Kotelo-changing table and later Rinki-highchair.
This is a product that will ease the life of any parent or family with babies, it can be given as a baby shower gift or as a present to a new born baby. Pacifiers, that always seem to be lost, are kept in one place with the help of Nassu. A child also learns to keep pacifiers on Nassu. Available in two sizes: with three or five faces. Made of painted/natural birch vaneer.

bObles – modern furniture for children
April 10th, 2007
The idea of the animals for bObles™ occurred from visits to the Zoo. Bolette’s son was highly fascinated by the elephant´s trunk, the red bottom of the baboon and the long neck of the beautiful giraffe. This became their inspiration in making the products. In combination with 5 years of architectural designs – the geometric and bright coloured animals were “born”. The romping animals take their starting point in geometrically forms which can transform into different kinds of animals. The unique proportions make them usable as childrens furniture. Furthermore they are perfect for creative play by children: rolling, jumping, riding, balancing, stacking or….just use them as animals. The material is light and with no pointed corner and the animals can be washed under a shower head. The romping animals have a great appeal to modern parents who emphasize the development of motion of their children. Awarded at Formex 2007.
