This gorgeous air vase makes a splendid appearance on any side table, side board or anything else that doesn’t necessarily need to be on the side…
Roughly 5″ x 7″ this ‘vase’ does a great job at looking phenomenal whilst not serving the original purpose – holding water – but it certainly does look great. Use it with a single long stemmed flower to add a dash of drama to your dinner table, or with a bunch of short and playful ones to contrast the rigid lines…
Made out of crisp white porcelain, this vase is so intriguing to look at because of the constant changes in surface and light coming through.
So put away the water and enjoy the flower before she’s gone…
Price: $85 / 80€

If you are looking for a small little light that creates a big and beautiful atmosphere, you found it.
Sam Johnson – you undoubtedly know him from the fabulous ‘Light Reading’ lamp – just presented this small yet wonderful idea at ICFF just a few days ago and we couldn’t wait til we got our hands on them.
Beautiful black brass is chemically etched in the shape of trees, that are then bent up to create a cute little nest for any standard tea candle.
Just drop it right in the middle and see a beautiful setting appear right in front of your eyes.
This enchanting contraption comes to your doorstep absolutely flat and makes a marvelous present to anybody how like the natural flicker of a candle…
Price: $25 / 20€

When we brought you the ‘NEW’ T-Shirt a couple days ago, you loved them so much that we wanted to bring you the appropriate little hat as well…
This little cap is so darn cute that it was the next obvious choice for all the little princes and princesses out there.
Made out of super soft 100% cotton, this is the ideal little cap for spring, not too warm and a little stretchy, so it fits a 12″ – 16″ head…
What a sovereign idea!
Price: $20 / 20€

Yes you probably do have a clock at home, maybe even two, or three… But there’s always room for this reduce-to-the max über-simple and extremely cool digital watch that uses nothing but a battery and a circuit board to display the time (and by the way, that’s all it displays…).
Designed by the up-and-coming duo WAT in the Netherlands, this will make a wonderful presentation on your bedside table, or your office, or your living room, or – well, the options a countless…
This is an as up-to-date presentation as it gets by the way, we just met Maarten in NYC for ICFF and just a few days later, it’s already here… And this is the first production run and comes signed by the team – so definitely a collectors item…
Price: $75 / 75€

Since we are great devotees of classic interior design and love our classic furniture and accessories, you can imagine how delighted we were to come across Mark McKenna’s Designer Emulation Kits (DEK) from designers that created some of our favorite lighting fixtures.
The Designer Emulation Kit 3 takes the form of the famous Tizio by Richard Sapper. This is the most challenging DEK to put together – definitely for the advanced DEK collector.
Similar to the miniature chairs from Vitra, Mark’s DEKs are meant to pay tribute to great modern designers of our time. Take one of these small, do-it-yourself contraptions (a computerized circuit board, to be precise), snap off its template, assemble and just plug it into a nine-volt battery (not included). Voila! A simple path to gorgeous light!
Price: $26 / 22€

Do you have a good answer to the old question: Where to put the condoms?
In a secret little box next to the bed (too secretive)? Open on your bedsidetable (too obvious)? Under your pillows (too silly)? Bathroom (much too far away)?
Here is a wonderfully cute design by the great guys over at Scabetti in the UK: The Prophopot. A teat ended bedside storage vessel for condoms – as Scabetti puts it. It is made from hypo-allergenic natural earthenware and lubricated with non-spermicidal glaze (it has not actually been formulated or dermatologically tested to reduce the risk of allergic reactions though)
We simply enjoy the playfulness of it and are sure that you will too…
Size: 3.5″ x 5″ or 90 x 127 mm
Price: $26 / 22€

We know that you enjoy good design as much as we do and that you are not looking for the ordinary, the bland. And why should you?
Here’s something that will bring a change to your bedside table: A completely wooden clock – with an alarm – that is so spectacular simple and gorgeous and at the same time unusual, that it is bound to create a stir.
Let’s talk technology for a moment: Simple and highly visible red LED numbers and an integrated alarm function make for a highly effective clock – what more do you need?
But the exterior is what fascinates in this case: The veneer is so thin, that the numbers – that are BEHIND the wood – shine through and make for a fascinating visual effect…
Just don’t get too distracted with the beautiful new object next to your bed that you forget what’s in your bed…
Size: 4″ x 10″
Price: $99 / 99€

Oooh, what’s that? And how does it work? Was our first reaction, and we are positive you’ll have the same questions once you get your hands on this cool cube.
No cables protude from the crisp clear bock that completely covers a simple bulb. But leave it out in the light for a few hours and see it come to life and cast a soft beautiful glow.
This is a fun addition to your office or your living room if you are looking for a subtle yet instantly recognizable light source.
Size: 3″ x 3″ x 4″
Price: $20 / 20€

OK, you like a nice cold beer every once in a while – like every other night. And obviously you prefer a good microbrew over a Bud – or maybe you don’t – taste varies. In any case, you need to open the bottle somehow.
Yes we are aware of twist off caps, but what if you do like microbrews? Or prefer Coke in a bottle? Unless your hand is a wrench, you won’t get to far…
Why not consider this elegant piece of work from the good guys over at Suck UK?
It’s a fridge magnet cum bottle opener. And we like it. I works perfectly with our micro brews and with pretty much any other bottle as well. And it’s really good looking. Subtle, it integrates well and doesn’t scream at you. Unless you take the red version or the ATL version…
Oh – and if you prefer opening your beer by twisting your hand, go ahead, be a macho, but in case it doesn’t open – try the opener…
Color: Red, White, Chrome, Black, Coke Red, Coke Chrome
Size: approx. 5″ x 8″ x 2″
