Nina Jobs

Nina Jobs, over the past decade, has been recognized as a leader of Swedish Design. Last year she visited Japan as a curator of a Swedish Style exposition “A trip to Sweden” and showed her presence in Swedish design. All of her products are sensitive, playful, and flexible. The subtle balance between form, function, and material also characterizes Nina’s designs. She works with many international companies and organizations including IKEA, David Design, Museum of Modern Art/New York, etc.

I Saloni ’06: Moooi Dome

But the fact is, they create such a wonderful and soft glow as you wouldn’t expect it. Well, we didn’t and were pleasantly surprised… Just like most of moooi’s other creations, these should be available late summer…

I Saloni Bag Give Away

The folks at the fair in Milan created these absolutely fabulous bright red Piquadro bags that were only available to members of the press. But we begged and we schmoozed and at the end were successful in scoring 10 for our readers. But before we go there, a word about I Saloni and ICFF – those of you who didn’t make it to Milan this Spring, should definitely try to get to ICFF at the end of May, because I Saloni WorldWide is going to be there as well, presented by Cosmit (the guys we got the bags from) the organization responsible for bringing us the worlds premier furniture fair in Milan every year. OK, now for the bags: We have put up a tiny little questionnaire here to make C&M better and we need your feedback – we will draw 10 lucky winners by the end of Monday and – unlike some other sites – actually publish the winners names the following day, this way you’ll know whether you missed out or not… Check out some random images of the bags after the jump.
