There’s nothing better about going mobile other than going mobile in style. That’s what happens when you carry the Arinna Laptop Tote – it’s perfectly hip for the most technically savvy women with discerning tastes. It’s got a smooth satin-finish microfiber to keep the outside and inside protected in style. The fabric is stain and water repellent, and includes premium grade nylon. All sides are padded to keep your laptop extra safe, and the leather trim adds a touch of class. Tuck away your cellie and some CDs inside, too, with extra pocket space. Stud feet add more protection and keep the pretty pastels clean. Fits laptops up to 14”.
Of course it’s not your fault that Motorola can’t make a stylish cell phone. That’s why Aloha Rag made the Ash and Diamonds Candy Strap. Just strap this on to your dear cellie and give it some extra pizzazz. The strap is made completely of goat leather and features rhinestones for that extra shine. Finished with enamel with logo imprint, this cell phone strap comes in a wide array of colors to keep you talking it up in style as you go.
For tunes on the go, an iPod case is essential – but for tunes on the river, you’ve got to get waterproof (after all, that iPod wasn’t cheap!) Leave behind the adventures of the big city and head for the beach or the mountains with this dustproof, dirtproof, sandproof and drop-proof case, which when combined with waterproof headphones makes your iPod quite the amphibious rock machine. Or if you’re just bumming at poolside, you’ll still dig tunes from your iPod, which always stays protected.

Jameelah el Gahsigari created some amazingly beautiful and soft light pieces, which – by sheer size – rule the room. But the fact is, they create such a wonderful and soft glow as you wouldn’t expect it. Well, we didn’t and were pleasantly surprised… Just like most of moooi’s other creations, these should be available late summer…
The folks at the fair in Milan created these absolutely fabulous bright red Piquadro bags that were only available to members of the press. But we begged and we schmoozed and at the end were successful in scoring 10 for our readers. But before we go there, a word about I Saloni and ICFF – those of you who didn’t make it to Milan this Spring, should definitely try to get to ICFF at the end of May, because I Saloni WorldWide is going to be there as well, presented by Cosmit (the guys we got the bags from) the organization responsible for bringing us the worlds premier furniture fair in Milan every year. OK, now for the bags: We have put up a tiny little questionnaire here to make C&M better and we need your feedback – we will draw 10 lucky winners by the end of Monday and – unlike some other sites – actually publish the winners names the following day, this way you’ll know whether you missed out or not… Check out some random images of the bags after the jump.
One of the ultimate highlights this year – Maarten Baas’ Smoke Dining Chair for moooi. Take a traditional, classical chair – sort of french inspired, could be english, but what the hell – and torch it. Yes, torch it. But in such a way that the chair remains intact and you wont ruin your clothes a single teeny weeny bit… Amazing eye candy. Major conversation starter.
