Nokia just recently opened their first flagship store in the US in Chicago. These stores are incredible and have some really nice features. Each Nokia Flagship Store features a carefully crafted retail environment ringed with state-of-the-art multimedia displays. June 27th, 2006
Usually we do not report a lot about cars, but this is for once a simple, but yet very useful new addition to the already long accessory list of a modern car. Chrysler adds to the new Sebring 2007 the option of a cup-holder that has a heating and cooling mechanism integrated. So, whatever drink you come to your car with, it will now be well taken care of. Its great to see that Chrysler and not the typical luxury carmakers comes up with this smart new option.

Swiss Knife Seating Unit
June 26th, 2006
Here we came once again across a successful re-interpretation of an already popular product, the Swiss Army Knife. This time the idea and mechanism of the knife was turned into a couch – The Swiss Knife Seating Unit.
“This playful Swiss Army-inspired seating landscape is cut, to fold, like a knife. The Swiss knife seating unit is product design done on the scale of furniture, reinterpreted everybody’s favorite airplane-banned carry-on as seating that can be open (360 degrees) or closed. The design goal is to allow you to minimize your furnishings, maybe you can get away with just one piece that you unfold for parties.”
A great idea, because it not only looks good, but is also practical – that’s all one can expect from furniture!

Perfect décor for those who appreciate the unique graphic quality of everyday surroundings. The idea is new and definitely creative. Maybe its even more fun if it displays some part of your own?
