Here another great collaborative project of Kidrobot and artist Frank Kozik. This time they move into the world of furnishing.
“Labbits keep getting bigger! This one is so big you can sit on him.
This furnishing transforms Frank Kozik’s nicotine addicted fur ball into a functional addition to any room. This prestige piece is sure to become a highly sought after collectible. The sturdy fiberglass makes it perfect as an extra seat in your living room or office!
This Giant Labbit is 30 inches long, sits 15 inches off the ground and is 17 inches wide!”
You can now purchase it on the Kidrobot website for as little as 1’000 USD!
With fixed gear biking becoming ever more popular around the trend savy people in the worlds metropoles this might be interesting for you to read through. The New York Times has just posted up a new article on fixed gear biking. If you do not know too much about it yet, it’s the perfect article to find out more about it. Not only is it a good article, but they also have an excellent interactive feature coming along with it, where they show fixed gear bike shops, fixed gears on the race track and on the street.
Most interesting was the history of the fixed gear bike, that actually goes way back and is not something that just recently became the new trendy thing to do, which it sometimes feels like lately.
Check it out here.
We recently reported about the Uniqlo t-shirt store (UT), that newly opened in Tokyo. 100 new t-shirts are offered every month and are presented in vending machines in the store, sold in cylinder packaging. Very impressive! Here now some live pictures of the store, that you should definitely put on your list of “must visit” places on your next Japan trip.
PT3 (PUMA Table Tennis Tournament) was conceived in the beginning of 2006 based on a simple idea: to bring a community together for the sheer passion of table tennis, more affectionately known as ping-pong. In conjunction with the forthcoming launch of French 77, a sports lifestyle collection inspired by the style and clothing of Argentinian tennis player Guillermo Vilas, PT3 pits thirty-two teams against each other. Comprised of masters from the city’s creative underground, teams from Formavision, Syrup, Psyop, Rude Movements, joao, 2×4, Staple Design, Chez Music, Flavorpill, Truth and Soul Records, and many more battle it out to the end for the title of PT3 champion.
PT3 will also feature limited edition paddle sets designed by long-time pong enthusiast Johan Liden from the New York-based creative agency aruliden. With sophisticated lines and high-gloss finish, the ‘PT3 Ultramagnetic Collection’ elevates the art of the game to new aesthetic heights.
PT3 is testament to the universal appeal of the game. Equally, it is much about the way community and creativity come together through sports culture.
Here we have a really nice English collaboration that Crooked Tongues reports about. Premium sneaker stores size? got together with Fred Perry on some sneakers and matching polo shirts. It is nice to see all the well executed Fred Perry collaboration projects.
Both the sneakers and the polo shirts come in black and white and feature on the shoes a lacelock with the size? logo and on the polos the size? logo is embroidered. The collection comes with orange accents, which is actually the size? color scheme. The sneakers are limited to 240 pairs and will be released of course exclusively at size?.
French? Or simply wannabe? Check out roving nightclub French Tuesdays. After wildly successful launches in US cities such as New York, LA, and Miami, the members-only parties have invaded San Francisco. Francophiles love the formal scene, which invades sexy venues such as Vessel and the W Hotel every other Tuesday. At least half of the thirty-something crowd is fluent in French; 40% speak other languages. You’ll need referrals from two existing members in order to permeate this scene, which is great for private networking, cultural bonding, and satiating your champagne fix. Now go on and get jiggy.
Here you can see the the Mimobots are not the only cute memory sticks on the market. Several times we have already reported about these Bearbrick designer toys by Medicom, a toy company from Japan.
They presented now these new memory sticks in the form of Bearbricks. A great and useful accessory. They released them in 3 colorways, each featuring a different design on them. They come with 512MB Memory. Something for the young and old!
The amount of collaborative products that have already been released featuring the iconic Colette mascots, Caperino & Peperone, created by Kunzel & Deygas, is simply impressive.
Here we present you the latest one. Birkenstock Japan got together with the two and created an entire series of sandals featuring them.
The sandals will be released at Birkenstock flagship stores in Japan, partner stores as well as selected stores around the globe. I think we are safe to tell you that they will be available at Colette in Paris. Via Honeyee.
Nike will release soon the Urban Country Club pack at their Nike Urban accounts. The pack consists of a Dunk High, Blazer and a Stadium LE. Most of the part of the sneakers will be covered in white and then some nice diamond pattern accents in warm brown and khaki tones.
All in all a solid pack, that consists of nice sneakers. Nothing totally crazy, but something you can wear every day.
