The new Palm Foleo got announced and might be the perfect gadget for many out there. Here what Gizmodo has to say about it:

it has a “real” keyboard, a rubber track-nipple, a scroll wheel, a 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1024×600 (but no touch sensitivity). It has 256MB of RAM but the only thing we know about the processor is that it handles some Flash but not the Flash video you find on YouTube. There’s a video out, USB port and Bluetooth for a choice of “dial-up” networking, plus Wi-Fi in case you left your phone at home.

We know that its Linux OS runs off of solid-state memory, enabling the very sweet instant-on instant-off function. However, we have no idea how much flash is packed in at the start. It may not be much: there’s a CF slot tucked under the battery and when you plug in a card, that card becomes your “primary memory.”

It will come out soon and be around 500 USD. Worth it?

Lacoste launches a new watch collection designed by Chistophe Pillet. As most of you should know, the French Open, Rolland Garros, has started and for the occasion Lacoste is previewing this new watch collection at Colette. We really like the left one with cotton bracelet – the right one looks more like a Swatch. But it’s always incredible to see what a simple icon like the crocodile can do to almost anything.

It always impresses us, seeing a brand like Visvim, which is still relatively small doing things just like the big luxury companies, if not better. They just released their latest candles, once again in collaboration with famous French perfumer Blaise Mautin. The perfumer usually works for royalty, diplomats or luxury hotel chains and since a while also with Visvim. The sourcing is once again very impressive. As usual when Visvim touches something, they do it right. As with the Visvim standard, quality ingredients are used in formulating the candles and packaging is carefully considered, with the candles housed in glass beakers reminiscent of chemistry laboratory lessons.
They launched several new candles and also a new bigger size one. The new flavors are amber, grass and mint. These are all now available at the Honeyee Online Store.

Over at Fatlace we came across this fun new gadget from Japan, created by Fujifilm in collaboration with photographer Yone and French artist Fafi.

“Cheki is a Japanese Polaroid camera from Fuji film and Yone is a very popular photographer in Japan as well. Together with French artist, Fafi, the 3 will release CheYone’s original cheki box on 30th of May. The box includes cheki camera, “loveyone” sticker, cheki guide book with Yone’s pictures and original film designed by fafi. 2000 will be produced and will be available here on Fatlace as well as Fuji Films website. Other stores that will carry it is CELUX. The composition, the shot, and the anticipation on what the photo is going to look like as it appears in front of you. Nothing beats a polaroid camera.”

Definitely a fun gadget, nicely packaged – something to look out for, as it will also be available at Fatlace for purchase.
