Here we have a fun and useful new gadget by Goodenough UK. They now created these wooden eyeglass holders. Very practical and something we have not seen so far. Shaped like a nose, the holders are available in six different colors.
These are now available at the Hideout.
Colette will be releasing in August two very exciting products by Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs. There will be the Mini Marc Box and the Louis Vuitton & Marc Jacobs documentary DVD.
Exclusive to colette and available in their eshop from August 22 (official release date September 5), the documentary “Louis Vuitton & Marc Jacobs” reveals the Louis Vuitton’s backstage and its artistic director Marc Jacobs. The DVD contains more than an hour of special extras (including New York party, a Marc Jacobs press conference in Tokyo, the large model Bracque bag and a visit to the factory). A documentary directed by Loïc Prigent, based on an idea by Dominique Miceli.
Following the success of Little Marc – his line of clothes for children – Marc Jacobs has created the Little Marc Box – the perfect gift to mark the arrival of any newborn – pyjamas in pink or claret with a Be@rbrick Medicom Toy. This limited-edition toy (only 1000 made) is availalbe in turquoise or bronze and is only available in a pre-release exclusively at colette from August 27.
Here you see the latest special release by Levi’s Vintage Clothing Japan – the Top Button Rings. Basically they created rings with the classic Levi’s Vintage buttons. The rings come in both sterling silver and gold.
We definitely like these better then the recent college rings by Levi’s Vintage, that came covered in diamonds and other stones. These Top Button rings are clean and make for Levi’s also much more sense. They are available now in Japan.
We just walked last week into the Soho store of Nom de Guerre and were very much impressed by their new Fall/Winter 2007 collection that had just gotten into store and now they already released a lookbook of their new Spring/Summer 2008 collection. As usual a work of art (the lookbook), it shows off the new styles that we can expect some time beginning of next year.
The Spring/Summer 2008 collection by Nom de Guerre seems to be a little western inspired, more in styles than in color. Also we enjoy very much the light layering in the collection. As usual one to look out for.
Check out the complete S/S ’08 lookbook here.
More an more we hear about collaborations between old traditional brands that are especially good at a very specific material or style and new and upcoming labels. The same case we have here. At Refinery 29 we now came across this new collaboration between Australian brand Rittenhouse and Mackintosh of Scotland. They re-invented the traditional Mackintosh rubberized trench.
The result, launching this month, is the reinvigoration of the classic coat with a hand-printed detachable wool-flannel liner in Rittenhouse’s signature “checkers” design, a celebration of each labels’ individual styles that gives new breath to an old standby.
The new sunglass brand Super out of Italy continues to impress. We have reported about them right from the start and Caliroots was the first to have them and the only one selling them online. The sunglasses are handmade in Italy and feature top quality Zeiss glasses.
They now received a restock of the first colorways and also got in some hot new ones – our favorite for sure the transparent ones!
Once again Medicom gets together with Levi’s on a nice project. This time around they did not only create a Beabrick, they also made some raw denim with Bearbrick graphics and some t-shirts for this project. They made a special pair of 501′s. Other details include reflective material all along the denim and around the pockets. The pack is supposed to be released some time in August. Via O’logy.
Have a look at the denim after the jump.
Here we have an exciting preview for you. Mosley Tribes got together with Maharishi. Created by luxury eyewear brand Oliver Peoples, they are known for adding modern interpretations to timeless looks and at a very high level of quality. We have recently seen a collaboration with Nom de Guerre and today we show you first pictures of the Maharishi collaboration. The pack was previewed last week at the new fashion tradeshow Capsule, in NYC.
The sunglasses come with three interchangeable lenses, including hunter yellow, black and smoke. The camouflage pouch houses each lense in its own compartment.
For those Transformers fans among you, this new Medicom Toy launch might be interesting. They now released their most famous toy, the Bearbrick, dressed up as Transformers. They come in two versions and definitely look good on any shelf!
Until now Puma has presented bikes as well as a limited edition bag under the Urban Mobility theme. Now they have launched an entire dedicated website for the theme and present a very large collection of bags and accessories. Overall the collection looks really nice, especially due to the wooden details on the bags. One can basically find any kind of bag (trolly, messenger bag, laptop bag, pouches, etc) in the line-up.
Check out the entire collection on their newly launched website.
