Levi’s Top Button Rings
July 30th, 2007
Here you see the latest special release by Levi’s Vintage Clothing Japan – the Top Button Rings. Basically they created rings with the classic Levi’s Vintage buttons. The rings come in both sterling silver and gold.
We definitely like these better then the recent college rings by Levi’s Vintage, that came covered in diamonds and other stones. These Top Button rings are clean and make for Levi’s also much more sense. They are available now in Japan.

Nom de Guerre S/S ’08
July 30th, 2007
We just walked last week into the Soho store of Nom de Guerre and were very much impressed by their new Fall/Winter 2007 collection that had just gotten into store and now they already released a lookbook of their new Spring/Summer 2008 collection. As usual a work of art (the lookbook), it shows off the new styles that we can expect some time beginning of next year.
The Spring/Summer 2008 collection by Nom de Guerre seems to be a little western inspired, more in styles than in color. Also we enjoy very much the light layering in the collection. As usual one to look out for.
Check out the complete S/S ’08 lookbook here.

Rittenhouse x Mackintosh
July 29th, 2007
More an more we hear about collaborations between old traditional brands that are especially good at a very specific material or style and new and upcoming labels. The same case we have here. At Refinery 29 we now came across this new collaboration between Australian brand Rittenhouse and Mackintosh of Scotland. They re-invented the traditional Mackintosh rubberized trench.
The result, launching this month, is the reinvigoration of the classic coat with a hand-printed detachable wool-flannel liner in Rittenhouse’s signature “checkers” design, a celebration of each labels’ individual styles that gives new breath to an old standby.

Puma Urban Mobility
July 27th, 2007
Until now Puma has presented bikes as well as a limited edition bag under the Urban Mobility theme. Now they have launched an entire dedicated website for the theme and present a very large collection of bags and accessories. Overall the collection looks really nice, especially due to the wooden details on the bags. One can basically find any kind of bag (trolly, messenger bag, laptop bag, pouches, etc) in the line-up.
Check out the entire collection on their newly launched website.
