Once again the Parisian concept store Colette has something special waiting for you, bringing together some of the most talented artists from around the globe - Domestic Curated.
CURATED BY COLETTE is a collection of vinyls by 10 leading artists and graphic designers. André - aka Mr A -, Claude Closky, So-Me, Work in Progress (Self Service) from Paris, +41 from Switzerland, Greg Foley (Visionaire) and Fabien Baron from New York, KAWS from Brooklyn, Jeremy Scott from Beverly Hills and Nagi Noda from Tokyo. Only 500 copies of each set have been made, and all are exclusive to colette in France.

Swedish sneaker brand Tretorn, that now belongs to Puma, continues their collaboration with ACNE Jeans, which has become one of the strongest high-end denim brands and fashion brands out of Sweden over the past couple of years. As part of the Autumn/Winter 2007 collection of ACNE Jeans, they worked on the Tretorn Stroll High and released it in two colorways - black and burgundy. The sneaker features a water resistant material on the upper and a classic pattern as the inner lining. The upper and the sole are tonal, which looks nice.

Both colorways are now available at Sneakers N’ Stuff.

The latest issue of Wallpaper magazine is a very interesting one. For this issue they brought 3 guest editors on board - Jeff Koons, Hedi Slimane and Dieter Rams. Not only there are 3 guest editors, but each one of them also designed a different cover for the issue. Besides the usual interesting content there are extensive interviews with all three in the issue, pictures of their work and also a couple of Hedi Slimane posters. Definitely worth picking up and collecting.

Ray-Ban just released their classic Wayfarer model from 1952 as a folding model. You get exactly the original, only that these are easier and more practical. They are now available at eLuxury.

Here we present you the latest addition to the Sabre Collection, the Psychotic Reaction model. In terms of style it reminds us of some classics, but seems to have a more updated look. Also the red colorway looks good on these. The Sabre Psychotic Reaction Sunglasses will be released internationally next week.

Keep has released today their complete Fall 2007 collection in their online store. As usual they present a nice line-up of sneakers. In their latest collection they make heavy use of plaid and corduroy. It is nice seeing brands such as Keep and Creative Recreation carving a part of the market out for themselves and being successful with innovative designs. In both cases also the pricing is very good. Almost the entire new Keep collection is available for below 100 USD.

BBC/Ice Cream, the brand of Pharrell Williams and Nigo, has opened their second flagship store this past weekend in Hong Kong. The store is definitely impressive and seams much bigger than the first one, that they opened in Tokyo last year. It is centrally located in Hong Kong and has several stories. Just like all Bape stores, the new BBC/Ice Cream store has also been designed by Japanese Architects Wonderwall. This second BBC/Ice Cream flagship store will be followed by a NYC flagship later this fall. We will report about that when we have more info.

The Wilson Brothers announced “Hextable” - a special product for Stussy. After the success of the limited edtition chairfix that the Wilson Brothers created for Stussy London a couple of years ago, they were now asked to work on a new product for Stussy Japan.

“Hextable” is an occasional table for the home, and is made from two identical components that once popped out of their packaging, fold and lock into place to create an incredibly light yet strong structure. “Hextable” is made from recycled cardboard and is fully recyclable. Because of its Honeycomb core “Hextable” weighs in at an incredible 1.2 kg which it a very sustainable product for logistics. The product also features an all-over repeat Stussy Pattern which was hands screen printed in London.The product is limited to Japan and London only (London Store Covent Garden) and went on sale this past weekend! A nice and innovative project once again by Stussy and the Wilson Brothers.

We have reported about the artist/designer Michael Young before for his interesting watch concepts and also the Indulgences series that he did together with Just Another Rich Kid. Now the artist collaborated with Lacoste and created the Plastic Polo.
In a futuristic design that designer brings together textile and plastic and re-invents the classic Lacoste Polo. It will be released exclusively at Colette on September 24th and comes in a big range of colorways for both men and women. The Colette online store already carries some of them.

Burton joined forces with one of our favorite artists, Andrei Molodkin. They got together for a t-shirt, which features “Burton” written in the iconic style of the artist. The artist should look familiar to you, as he has collaborated with Supreme a couple of years ago as well.

The t-shirt is now available at Helden. The collaboration of the two goes beyond this t-shirt, so expect us to report more on this in the near future. A snowboard and more will follow by the artist.
