Oh my, can you say sexy? This just arrived on our door step from the oh so talented Pension Für Produkte in Hamburg (the same guys that bring us the great cutting boards and the marvelous key rack) literally a couple days ago... And we immediately fell in love with it. It's a very traditional cup for Cappucino or Café au Laît or cereal if you want to go that route, but the second you lift the cup from it's saucer – ha – surprise! A sensual surprise if we might add... Made out of beautiful porcelain, the entire cup and the saucer is glazed, yet the surprise isn't – the gaze and bisquit detailing creates a wonderful tension between the material and the visual. Oh so fabulous! And if you are wondering where the name Anna comes from, that would be the designer Anna Maschmann's first name. Whether the surprise has the same origin, shall remain a secret though... Size: Cup Ø 2.1"/5,5 cm at base and 4.7"/12 cm at top, 3.1"/8 cm tall, holds approximately 1.5 cups or 300 ml Saucer: Ø 6.2"/16 cm
