Ok, ok, we get it, calculators are a thing from the past, we all have computers and iPhones and who needs a calculator that can’t do anything else? We do! All the time. And we know a lot of people who need them as well. And what do you get when you try to buy a simple calculator? Some ugly, undesigned piece of plastic that is completely soulless and boring. Remember the great Texas Instruments calculators of the 70’s and 80’s? With magnet strips to save your 'files'? Those were great pieces of design or Dieter Rams iconic calculator for Braun? Perfect, but today's selection is more or less dull and boring. Uninspired, and often times not even that usable.

Well, after all our bickering we better offer you something that really rocks. And we will: Another fantastic piece by Sam Hecht and his studio, this calculator looks exactly like the 10 key pad from an old keyboard, nice big keys, sturdy, great plastic feel, lovely. And guess what, if you hook it up to your computer and Mac, you actually have a 10 key pad as well. Smart, eh? And good looking and unusual and simple and all these other things that are so important, like the size: 3.5“ x 5“ x .75“ or 9 x 13 x 2 cm.
