This is the latest member of Jonas Damon's Open Edition, a collection of home objects that arrives at the new by revisiting the familiar. All the different pieces of the collection are only a step or two away from their origins as comercially available items, yet present themselves as something entirely different.

This clock by AREAWARE is a series of cubes, each displaying one glowing number and when placed in the correct order, it displays the current time. We liked the idea of abstracting time and breaking it up into a set of constantly changing numbers.

It works great as a playful desktop or bedside table accessory and once you arrange them in your favorite way, it'll be easy for you to tell the time, for others, it might not be.

Each block is 5 x 4 x 4 cm
