The all-wooden design of Jonas' original dock recalls the classic design commonly seen in movies from the 70s. Remember those faux wood grain GE flip clocks that sat on every bedside table?

These humble clocks were made obsolete by fancy LED clocks and more recently by your mobile devices. Jonas Damon’s Alarm Dock allows your iPhone to read as an “alarm clock”, with an opening at back for routing your power supply.

Augmented by a flip clock app (free download here from the iTunes store), this dock returns meaningful form to the sliver of a device that will wake you up. Of course, you could just use the phone by itself, but where's the fun in that?
