The great minds at 'Another Studio for Design' in the UK felt that the conventional card lacked surprise, bringing only a momentary enjoyment. The arrival of a greeting card or letter in the post can always brighten up your normal mail and bring pleasure but once opened its role becomes commonplace and static.

Their response is PostCarden. It can be sent easily in the mail with room to write a personal greeting, yet PostCarden was created to be more playful, curious and interactive. It encourages you to bond, live and grow the greeting on a day-by-day basis. Over time the card reacts to you and your environment evolving in beauty and charm.

How does it work? As easy as 1,2,3,4,5:

One: Open and unfold your Carden into its three-dimensional form.
Two: Tuck the tabs into slots and glue (or tape) where instructed. If you don't have glue or tape don't worry! It is not essential but it well help strengthen the structure.
Three: Carefully sprinkle water into the base - A dripping tap is ideal for this.
Four: Scatter the cress seeds onto the damp paper.
Five: Keep the seeds moist by adding water as required.

Place your Carden in a warm, bright spot. It will start to grow in two to three days and will last up to two weeks. All cress can be eaten.
