Service & Help Shipping

Shipping is one of those topics that can be a pain to understand, that's why we want to explain how we work to make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into.

Generally we prefer to ship with FedEx or UPS or DHL, no postal service. Why? Simple: Every box we ship out by the shipping services is trackable, so we know what's going on and if it gets lost, we have control over the process. With the postal service we don't have that level of control.

Now if you do decide to ship with the USPS, then please note the following: You can't track the order. The order isn't insured. If it arrives broken or doesn't arrive at all, there is nothing we can do. Very sorry, that is your decision, but we can't insure the shipments and so if anything happens we can't cover it.

Why are your shipping rates so high? They aren't. They are what UPS or FedEx offers us as rates, we don't add any hidden fees to make a buck of your order in shipping. But we're not Amazon, we don't have their volume in shipping, so our rates are higher than Amazons, naturally. But more importantly, they are higher because every shipment is insured for the value of the goods. So if anything happens, it breaks or get's lost, we'll send you a new one. Can't have that with USPS!!!

International shipping adds another layer of complexity as we can't control any local charges that you might incur. All international shipments include a commercial invoice as we are required by law to add that to the shipments. You might need to pay brokerage fees and duties and taxes in your country, but we have no control over such fees and can't quote them either.

Sales events are the exception to the rules. Sales events are processed once an event is over and ship within 10 days after the event. We're awfully sorry that there's a delay, but you are saving up to 70% and the items are getting to us just in time.

Lastly, our packaging: We try to standardize our packaging, it saves us money and you too. But that means that we might have a set of pencils in a box that would hold 50 sets, we simply can't stock a box for every possible product we might have in our warehouse, it is simply not feasible for a company our size.
